Sheet Metal Vertical Lift Storage and Retrieval System

The Sheet Metal Vertical Lift System (VLS) is an automated storage and retrieval system (AS/RS) designed to enhance material storage and production efficiency. It uses an elevator to move along the front of the tower, depositing and retrieving cartridges weighing up to 5,000 lbs. and delivering them directly to ground level for further processing. By integrating storage and processing, this system can streamline operations, eliminate costly retrieval steps, increase production machinery uptime, and reduce associated labor.
